Summary

A welder/fabricator creates, repairs, and assembles trailers, handling the entire process from raw material to finished product. The welder must be are skilled in measuring, cutting, shaping, and welding (MIG) metal. The candidate must also have knowledge of painting finished product.

  • Fabrication: Cutting, grinding, drilling, bending, and shaping metal parts using tools like shears, saws, and CNC machines.
  • Welding: Joining components using MIG, TIG, or arc welding techniques to meet precise specifications.
  • Safety & Precision: Maintaining accuracy in measurements and adhering to strict safety protocols
  • Experience: Previous experience in welding (MIG/TIG) and layout
  • Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy materials (often up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods, and work in varied environments.
  • Tools: Knowledge of various hand and power tools
