  • Minimum of 8 years of experience
  • Must be familiar with Chrysler/GM/Ford Specs.
  • Must be able to Read Blueprints.
  • Must know what type of valves are required for Circuits as well as Symbols of Components
  • Must know Air Logic Circuits, and Debug Logic Circuits.
  • Must have knowledge of System Layouts and the materials needed for order
  • Must know: Bend tubing/Hydraulic and Pneumatic circuits.
  • Must know how to pipe Fixtures, Header Systems, Water systems -Copper/PVC.
  • Must be able travel on Field Assignments within U.S., Canada and Mexico.   Please note Canadian Entry requirements:  Must have no felony charges (including DUI) for previous 10 years and must have a valid passport or enhanced license.
  • Advises and supports Pipefitter in planning of Piping and Installation of equipment and fixtures.
  • Inspects piping and fixtures for conformance to company and/or customer specifications.
  • Assist Supervisor in build schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
  • Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
  • Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
  • Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet build schedules.
  • Recommends measures to improve build methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
  • Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
  • Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
  • Estimates and inspects materials.
  • Confers with other leaders to coordinate activities of individual departments.
  • Material Follow-up, if necessary.
  • Attends team meetings.
  • Determines with other leaders and/or job leaders break points for cable tray, piping, and fence for teardown.
  • Verifies with Pipefitters that changes are marked up in the drawing set and conveyed back to the controls design with proper quality form.
  • Performs activities of workers supervised.
  • Understands and follows safety & environmental regulations and identifies safety/environmental concerns.
  • Adheres to the Quality System and participates in continuous improvement.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job
