Responsibilities:
- Leading, Supervising, and Directing a team of pipefitters, ensuring work is completed efficiently and safely.
- Possessing strong pipefitting skills, including the ability to install, modify, fabricate, and repair piping systems.
- Blueprint Reading and Interpretation: schematics, and other technical drawings to plan and execute pipefitting work.
- Inspecting completed and in-progress work for quality and adherence to specifications, standards, plans, and schedules.
- Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:
- Identifying and resolving issues related to pipefitting work, including leaks, blockages, and other problems.
- Mentoring and training less experienced pipefitters and apprentices.
- Documenting and Maintaining accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any modifications or repairs made.
- Safety Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and procedures.
- Communicating effectively with supervisors, project managers, and other team members.
