Summary

Knowledgeable in the application and utilization of standard practices and procedures used in the machine tool trade. Lead and follow-up of automated assembly and weld systems from onset to installation at the customer’s facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follows the installation of equipment during all phases from build to customer’s plant.
  • Keeps close communication with corresponding departments (engineering, purchasing, management) and customers.
  • Meets and maintains scheduled deadlines.
  • Provides technical support for contract manpower.
  • Assigns and organizes work schedules.
  • Utilizes, projects, and monitors manpower.
  • Organizes and follow-up material flow.
  • Interfaces and coordinates with all Electrical, PLC Programmers, Pipefitters, and Robot programmers in a cooperative effort in order to complete the work schedules on time.
  • Upholds and enforces company policies, procedures, and rules.
  • Understands and follows safety & environmental regulations and identifies safety/environmental concerns.
  • Adheres to the Quality System and participates in continuous improvement.
    Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
