Summary
Knowledgeable in the application and utilization of standard practices and procedures used in the machine tool trade. Lead and follow-up of automated assembly and weld systems from onset to installation at the customer’s facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follows the installation of equipment during all phases from build to customer’s plant.
- Keeps close communication with corresponding departments (engineering, purchasing, management) and customers.
- Meets and maintains scheduled deadlines.
- Provides technical support for contract manpower.
- Assigns and organizes work schedules.
- Utilizes, projects, and monitors manpower.
- Organizes and follow-up material flow.
- Interfaces and coordinates with all Electrical, PLC Programmers, Pipefitters, and Robot programmers in a cooperative effort in order to complete the work schedules on time.
- Upholds and enforces company policies, procedures, and rules.
- Understands and follows safety & environmental regulations and identifies safety/environmental concerns.
- Adheres to the Quality System and participates in continuous improvement.
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
