Summary:

Hydraulic & Lubrication Systems Technician to support our fabrication department. This role focuses on testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning hydraulic power units and lube oil skids for machine tool builders, OEMs, and industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect fabricated hydraulic and lube oil skids for compliance with engineering drawings and bills of material
  • Perform pressure testing, system flushing, and cleanliness verification
  • Test and troubleshoot hydraulic circuits and components
  • Diagnose and correct issues related to pressure, flow, temperature, noise, vibration, and contamination
  • Verify proper operation of pumps, motors, valves, manifolds, accumulators, heat exchangers, filters, and reservoirs
  • Assist with system start-up and commissioning activities
  • Verify relief valve settings and system performance
  • Document testing results, troubleshooting actions, and repairs
  • De-Bug control panels

Systems & Technical Experience

  • Hydraulic power units (HPUs) and lube oil skids
  • Pumps (gear, vane, piston) and drive systems
  • Directional, pressure, flow, proportional, and servo valves
  • Filtration systems, oil coolers, heaters, and offline filtration
  • Pressure, temperature, flow, and level instrumentation
  • Hydraulic schematics and electrical prints
  • Electrical controls knowledge/PLC knowledge is a plus

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years hands-on experience with industrial hydraulic systems
  • Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics
  • Experience supporting machine tool builders, OEMs, or industrial equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Familiarity with ISO cleanliness standards and flushing procedures
  • Commitment to safe work practices and quality workmanship

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Plant maintenance or field service experience
  • Electrical and controls troubleshooting exposure
