Summary

The Designer does primarily material handling rack designs with other design types to be assigned as required. These designs consist of new designs, revisions, reverse engineering, lay-outs, rework instructions, details design and others. The objective is to provide quality designs and build prints per the customers requirements to perform effectively within the budget and schedule.Work as a team player with other departments.

* Attend internal reviews.
* Review and interpret Job Line-up sheets.
* Create 3D Models
* Create drawings from 3D models.
* Revise provided drawings when necessary.
* Design per Customers Standards and Specifications
* Ensure all Builds and Non-conformances are updated on drawings.
* Create change information for estimating.
* Fills out or reviews control line-up forms per designated project.
* Ensures designs are cost effective.
* Understand and follow safety & environmental regulations and identify safety/ environmental concerns.
* Adhere to the Quality System and participates in continuous improvement.

Education
Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Information
Looking for someone with NX experience, long term and 45-50 hours a week. Min. 5 years of NX tooling design.No expected travel required
