Summary
The Manufacturing Floor Assistant is responsible for the completion and maintenance of the manufacturing
operations procedures, documents, process flows and job aids for Manufacturing operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Act as support to Manufacturing Plant Manager, Supervisors, and related departments to facilitate
successful completion of project deliverables. - Issue customer checklists and related documentation to manufacturing personnel as required.
- Check completed documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Scan and enter customer and supplier documentation into appropriate online folders.
- Produce, verify, and affix serialization and additional required stickers to completed product.
- Provide and attach required physical copies of documents to completed product.
- Complete, upload, and file required “as built” photos of all equipment in appropriate online folders.
- Work with and assist Shipping & Receiving as necessary to update relative documents to assist in workflow.
- Document process enhancements to assist with manufacturing deliverables, templates, work instructions,
etc. - Track implementation of changes or updates regarding customer specifications and deliverables for project
completion and buy-off for equipment. - Assists Manufacturing Operations by updating CLIENT procedures & documents for manufacturing
production operations. - Assist in tracking progress of manufacturing project work to maintain status and time constraints.
- Document process enhancements to the assist with manufacturing deliverables, templates, work
instructions, etc. - Adhere to CLIENT Quality System and participate in continuous improvement.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
- Perform necessary tasks and objectives to accomplish project deliverables to customer specifications
- Navigate CLIENT network to accurately facilitate required documentation.
Responsibilities
Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities
include planning, assigning, and resolving job related technical problems and documentation.
Education and/or Experience
Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college program or technical school or working toward a 4-year
degree in a related business. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment a plus and can be considered as
substitute.
