Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•          Maintain accounts and prospects by using a CRM database.

•          Serving existing customers, prospecting new clients, and managing inbound contacts via phone and email. Lead distribution and follow-up with to Outside Sales Staff, with Reporting on lead conversion tracking.

•          Facilitate communication between Outside Sales Staff, Engineering, Accounting, Contracts, and Purchasing departments, and vendors to ensure prompt customer quotation and order fulfillment.

•          Develop and maintain relationships with contacts within external client companies.

•          Coordinate problem resolution, analyze technical documents, and recommend solutions from the full product line.

•          Represent the company brand at special events and/or trade show settings.

•          Assist Outside Sales Staff & Distribution Network with customization/tailoring of customer-facing presentations or facilitate other marketing requests.

•          Communication of billing and contract milestones on new orders to assist customers in preparing for their order shipment.

•          Generate periodic Territory & Product Market Analysis reports from existing company and industry data.

•          Execute administrative tasks and/or tasks related to special events (JTEKT Technology Days, IMTS, etc.) on an as needed basis.

•          Travel Requirements: 5-10% Travel Expectation to support Trade Shows, Distribution Network Open Houses, or similar.

•          Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

•          Baccalaureate degree or post-secondary certificate in Marketing, Business, Technical Sales, or other applicable discipline is highly desired

•          1+ year(s) of experience with advanced customer service concepts and how they apply to selling

•          1+ year(s) of experience with productive selling strategy and how it applies to business-level situations in a technical setting

•          Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

•          Familiarity with Salesforce CRM a plus
